Where to get Heavy Metal Testing.
Live and wondering where to get tested for heavy metals?
There are several kinds of heavy metal tests – hair, urine, blood, spectroscopy. , read on to discover the best test for heavy metals.
A hair test shows which heavy metals you have been actively excreting over the past 3 months, but it cannot show what metals you are holding onto.
A urine test also shows which heavy metals you are eliminating when you pee, but unless you take a biopsy needle and get the urine directly from the bladder there is no way to see what metals you are holding onto.
A blood test can only show which heavy metals are present in the blood. Since the body does everything it can to protect the blood (because blood is your lifeline and goes everywhere!), by the time heavy metals show up in the blood, it’s only because it is already overloaded elsewhere in the body. Blood is the last place for toxins to show up, so if it’s already in the blood, chances are it’s already causing noticeable health issues.
Light Spectroscopy heavy metal testing (commonly known as an Oligo Scan), bounces light inside and around the cells in the tissue on your non-dominant hand. Each mineral, metal, and vitamin has a different light signature according to that person’s blood type, so the Oligo Scan is able to read those signatures and determine the exact amount of minerals, metals and vitamins that the body is holding onto inside and around the cells! By understanding which minerals your body is holding onto, an experienced practitioner can provide you with solutions for eliminating each metal safely.
Can Heavy Metals Be Removed From The Body?
Yes, however, it must be done in a particular way.
First, the body’s detoxification organs and systems must feel supported so it is safe to remove a heavy metal. This often means strengthening the liver or flushing the lymphatic system or improving blood flow before it is possible to begin working on heavy metal removal.
Then, you can only remove one or two metals at a time. Anything that claims to remove all your heavy metals at once, does not understand how the body truly removes heavy metals.
The process of heavy metal removal should always be guided by a qualified medical professional who has experience removing heavy metals safely, effectively, and without any detoxification reactions. It is possible to remove them safely and feel great while doing so! You just need the right tools and guidance.

Are Heavy Metals Bad For You?
Yes! Imagine this, you are using aluminum foil to cook with. The aluminum seeps into your food and enters your body. Now this aluminum, like all heavy metals, can actually pretend to be a mineral. The cell receptor site thinks it’s a mineral and goes, “yes, finally, some food!” so it opens up and that aluminum lodges itself right in that receptor site.
Now, it’s not a real mineral, so it cannot actually permeate the cell wall, but once that aluminum decides to barricade that entrance area, it’s like putting a key in a locked door and then breaking the key – nothing is getting in or out of that door.
Over time, if the aluminum stays there long enough it can actually change the receptor site to attract other aluminum buddies in the future, instead of attracting the mineral food the cell needs to work properly.
How Heavy Metals Affect Human Health
Where are heavy metals stored in the body?
When heavy metals are stored in the body, they tend to settle in specific organs in a very particular pattern. First, they collect in the nasal cavity. This is because it is a very safe dumping ground for toxins because it does not interrupt any organ function. Also because the body is hoping you will just blow your nose and get that stuff out of there. Second, they collect in the thyroid, which can cause fatigue and hormone changes among other things. Third, they collect in the pancreas, which can interrupt insulin and digestive enzyme production. Fourth, they collect in the pelvic region (uterus and ovaries for women, prostate and testicles for men), which can manifest as hormonal changes or infertility. Fifth, they collect in the kidneys. Finally sixth, they collect in the brain (particularly aluminum and mercury which have an affinity for gathering in the brain the most).
While that is a typical heavy metal signature for major metal toxicity being an underlying cause of imbalance in the body, heavy metals can manifest in the body in a whole myriad of ways.
